The VisABLE PM™ Inputs, Tools & Techniques, Outputs are a collection of nine charts (Integration, Scope, Time, Cost, Quality, H.R., Communication, Risk and Procurement) , illustrating the processes of the knowledge area. Each set of processes is color coded upon a background that identifies the association between the process groups and the core processes in the knowledge area. Each sheet contains a color coded table that summarizes the inputs, outputs, tools and techniques for each specific knowledge area.

Color has been used to enable a visual representation of the relationship between the 44 processes, 9 knowledge areas, 5 process groups, and the many inputs, outputs, tools and techniques that are defined in the PMBOK^® 3rd edition. The colors and graphics applied are consistent with all visABLE PM™ products in order to enable you to visually recognize each process, process group, and knowledge area for easier retention.

Poster 1 illustrates each of the 44 defined PMOBK^® Guide processes and precisely how & when they are intended to be applied. The project life-cycle concept and knowledge areas are also illustrated on poster 1.

Posters 2, 3, and 4 illustrate the 44 defined PMOBK^® guide processes, including inputs, tools & techniques, and outputs. The intended application of each process is defined, along with a condensed explanation of each input, tool and technique, and output.
